family

i've been pretty lucky as of late with being able to spend lots of time with my family.

Last weekend Lis, Kell, and sweet Avery came to stay the night with me. I seriously love them!

This would be miss Mckell Webb...

That same weekend, Garet and Rulon were out of town, so Sharee and the boys came to stay with Kathy. They are so fun to be with. It was a beautiful sunny weekend, so we went to the park, and played with the kids. Here's little Grayson at 6 weeks old. so cute.

Chase is such a good big brother to Parker. He really takes such good care of him!

Then, this last week has been my spring break, so the Jones went up to Targhee to go skiing for Rulon's birthday. I hadn't been skiing since i was probably in 5th or 6th grade. But we had a lot of fun together, and it was nice to get away for a couple of days.

two things....

First of all...my first spring flowers have sprung. My mom gave me these tulips a while back....and i was so happy this morning when i woke up to see that they had popped out. i can't wait for more.....secondly....i've become a brunette! why...i don't know, but i did. I did it about 2 weeks ago, but i've been having a really hard time adjusting to it...its suprisingly been really hard for me. chase really likes it (which was a shocker) and i'm starting to...i just keep looking at myself and seriously thinking i'm Melissa...weird i know. its starting to grow on me. (its a pretty crappy picture, sorry...it was on my phone) One of my beehives in Young Womens yells at me everytime she sees me because she liked me blonde better....but its hair, and i'm sure it will be blonde again eventually. i think i'm finally starting to like it a little.

change is good.

spring...

i am lovin every second of this beautiful weather outside. (i'll pray it lasts longer than 2 days)
its makin me oh so excited for the months to come.
i think i am a much happier person when the weather is warm.
yesterday was the first day i didn't need to wear a coat at school..

Heres my list of things i can't wait to do in the sun...

1. go running outside. i'm gettin pretty tired of the treadmill/elliptical.
there is just something about running in the fresh air that rejuvinates me.

2. plant my garden. my first garden ever. but i've waited for this summer for a long time, to
actually have a yard/garden, where i can plant whatever i want. i love vegetables.

3. have picnics. we've never really been much for picnics, but i'm hoping we can change that this
spring/summer and have many.

4. Go hiking. my chaser loves the outdoors, and we pretty much have our own supply of
beautiful mountains to roam on @ the ranch....so i'll look forward to those days.

5. plant/pick spring flowers

6. being able to pull out my t-shirts and shorts. i like them lots better than my sweaters.

7. not go to school everyday. summer=no school. i like that.

i just know i'm a happy girl when i'm warm.

how sweet it is...

I had a Fabulous weekend to say the least! my sis-in-law, Sharee, had her sweet little baby on tuesday...GRAYSON GARET JONES.....and look at him, isn't he precious. So i spent a couple days lovin on him (and the other two brothers), and I loved every minute of it.

Then, i headed to Logan to visit my other half and her little darling (and mckell, of course)...She is now a month old and still as adorable as ever. she's gettin some chunky little cheeks, which i adore. Kell and i had a sleepover, in Avery's room, so that everytime lis got up to feed we could keep her company. We did pretty good for the first feeding, but i'm pretty sure she lost me after that. I seriously just LOVE These little babes. Chase is gone....again ( in pennsylvania this time) which is of course, no fun...but, it opens up my weekends and lets me run to UT to spend time with my fam. (but seriously chase, hurry home)

I think i'm a proud aunt.

two good things

I hope you have such a good birthday! We sure do miss you and wish we could spend today with you! You are such a fun, sweet sis-in-law! Hope you have a good day. We love you! 2. And secondly...this little family got a new little addition yesterday! Shar will have her hands full with 3 little boys runnin around...But that is why shar is supermom, she can handle it. I'm so excited for you...can't wait to see the little guy!

my babe has been workin in California for the last 2 1/2 weeks....and i'd say its about time i go visit him. Being apart for this long is NOT ok with me. Oh how i've missed him!
