My First 5K!

Today, my sis-in-law, Sharee, and i ran in our first 5K race!...It was fun to get out and enjoy the beautiful morning by running a few miles. The race was a fundraiser for Primary Children's Hospital, and it was neat to see so many people out to raise money for a good cause!

This is the group of friends that ran the race with us! Eric and Andrea (on the end) went to CEU with me, and now we go to school together at Weber, so it was fun to have them run with us too! Yeah for all of us for completing our first race! GOOD JOB GUYS!

Here is me getting my medal. I won first place in my age division (15-24)...so i was pretty excited about that! The race ended up being 3 1/2 miles, and i ran it in 27.29 minutes. I think all my adrenaline and energy got me to the end. I Guess thats enough motivation to keep running, and get ready for the next race!! It ended up being a great experience for my first 5K!! Thanks Shar and Beans for running with me!

shout out to my favorite sisters!

....so i know i talk about my family quite often, they are wonderful (but it also explains the lack of excitement in my life). anyways, i just wanted to tell my cute sisters how great i think they are! each one of them has such a unique and amazing personality about them. I admire, their talents, humor, and the fun they bring into my life! We have quite a good time together, and i just want them to know i sure do love them. Thanks girls for being great sisters!

sorry friends for my once again, very long delay of no new blog posts. The lack of my postings has just reassured me of how much i don't enjoy school, homework or jobs, because that is what is consuming my life as of lately. I now just need to find something exciting or fun to do with my life to have a fun post to post. but anyways, hope everyone is doing great.

To put it simply...my dad is amazing! I am always learning things from him. Recently he has taught me how to be strong through any sort of trial that I am given. A few weeks ago, my cute dad was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphnoma....and it hit me hard, I've always thought my dad was invincible. But he has had such faith, and been so strong. Not once have I heard him say anything negative about what he is facing. Cancer is a scary thing, and i know it scares my dad as well. But i am learning so much from his example of how to push through anything that comes my way! His positive attitude teaches me that I can't let such small things discourage me and get me down, if he is not even letting something as huge as cancer tackle him. I Love You Dad!

Me & My Twinner!!

This weekend I met my sisters and mom in Logan to go wedding dress shopping with my cousin. When i showed up, i got out of the car, walked into the store, and looked at my cute little twin sis...wearing the exact same outfit as me. Seriously, how often does that happen. We were wearing the exact white t-shirts, dark jeans, and PINK shoes, it wouldn't have been that crazy if it weren't for the shoes, ya don't just wear pink shoes everyday. I just love moments like this! It makes me so happy to be a twin. So i guess that answers the question as to whether or not we think the same things at the same time..cuz on this day we sure did! (clear up the confusion...i'm on the right!) LOVE YOU LISSER!

YEA FOR ME!!

I finally did it, or at least got it started. I'm sorry to all of those who have checked my poor blog daily, only to find.....nothing, day after day. I seemed to have found myself being slightly blogging illiterat. But hopefully i can do a little bit better.
